Collection: BeeLoosh Collection

This collection is named "Bee-loosh" after the Zapotec word for this technique. BeeLoosh is Zapoteco for "Serpiente de Agua Dulce" (Fresh Water Serpent).

Beeloosh is a very ancestral technique that adds hair onto the surface of each piece as it comes out of the kiln. The hair dissolves leaving behind a thunder/veined like effect. It is believed that this effect connects us to energy. Hair is the connection with energy which is why hair is used for this technique.

Colors in this collection are attained by using natural mineral pigments. Like many products using natural pigments, variation in color, look, and tonality may vary from piece to piece. This collection was created by Adrian Martinez.
