Origin: Santa Maria Atzompa by artisan Ana Martinez
Material: Black and white clay from in and around Atzompa, Oaxaca. The copitas are hand-spun, built, and fire-baked. Once cooked, they are thrown into saw dust which yields its burnt natural earth tones.

Care: Wash and dry a couple of times before first use. Use of heavy soaps are discouraged due to its porous nature.
