Origin: Santa Maria Atzompa, Oaxaca by the Blanco family collective comprised of Emmanuel, Beatrice, Lucina, and Noemi Blanco.
Material: Made out of black, white and red clay found in and around Atzompa.
Technique: Each plate is hand-built and shaped. All flowers and leaves are hand rolled and "embroidered" onto the piece. This method is what gives name to the technique known as "bordado"
Color: The red pigment is attained by "bathing" the center piece with a fine red clay mix. The color is clay, not paint.

- Clay: Rinse and dry a couple times before first use. No dishsoap due to its porous nature.
- Textiles: Hand-wash only. Line dry
