Origin: San Marcos Tlapazola, Oaxaca.
Material: Natural Clay from San Marcos Tlapazola.
Technique: Cooked using open air kilns using firewood. Due to its handmade nature variations and any imperfections are part of the artisanal process.
Color: Red Clay finish that is achieved by bathing each piece in a concentrated Red Clay Wash. each piece is unglazed. Wind, fire temp, debris, and weather all play a role in the finished look. Just like snowflakes, no two pieces are the same.
