Origin: Santa Maria Tlahuitoltepec, Oaxaca. Sierra Mixe.
Material: Natural Clay from Tlahuitoltepec, Oaxaca.
Technique: Cooked using open air kilns. Due to its handmade nature variations and any imperfections are part of the artisanal process.
Color: Natural Clay finish with slight burns / pigmentation adorning it’s surface. Wind, fire temp, debris, and weather all play a role in the finished look. Just like snowflakes, no two pieces are the same.
