Origin: Santa Maria Atzompa, Oaxaca.
Material: Black and white clay. Combined they balance each other out to compose a malleable consistency that allows the artisan to bring their creations to life.
Technique: Each piece is hand built and spun. Cooked using a reduction technique that yields its unpredictable earth tones.

Description: This face motif is the artisans interpretation of clay pottery found in archeological sites. It is the Ana's interpretation of the face of our Zapotec people.
Care: Wash and dry completely before storing. Use of heavy dish soaps is discouraged due to its porous nature.
